March 22nd ~ Annual Garage Sale ~ Greater
Lansing Weavers Guild will hold its third annual fiber-related garage sale
March 22 at Edgewood United Church, 469 N. Hagadorn Road, East Lansing.
Anything fiber-related may turn up at bargain prices. Past sales have included
weaving and spinning equipment (small looms, reeds, shuttles, warping
equipment), weaving and knitting yarns, fiber for spinning, fabric, books and
circular sock knitting machines. A table is set aside for free stuff (can’t
beat that price!), and ads for looms too large to haul to the sale will be
posted. A central checkout table makes it easy to shop several people’s tables but
write just one check. Tell your friends and organize your car pools.
Who knows – that doodad or cone of yarn you’re
looking for may be waiting there for you!
